Genetic disorders are caused by an abnormality in the genome. Most Genetic disorders are present from birth and are quite rare, often affecting only one person in every several thousand or million. These include Down Syndrome and Williams Syndrome. OT will work on assisting the child to develop appropriately and be as independent as possible.
